We Learn From Observing Nature

How to Incorporate Back to Eden Principles into your Farm or Garden.

  1. Use wood chips to fertilize your soil. Mix some in the soil and rest some on top of soil allowing nature to break it down into the top soil.
  2. Create a wood chip mound that drains rain water naturally into your garden.
  3. Use naturally occurring fungus to help keep moisture in your soil. It will help keep moisture during dry or drought season.
  4. Use naturally mineral rich volcano soil to enrich your soil.
  5. Use heirloom seeds and plant or tree clippings that have not been genetically modified.
  6. Do not till soil, it destroys the naturally occurring nitrogen producing insects and other crubs in your soil that enrich its content.
  7. To plant seeds dig a whole and rest them in, cover with top soil.
  8. Do not be afraid to share your produce with nature: animals, birds and insects. They play a part in helping to maintain the ecosystem that your farm or garden needs.

PERMACULTURE – LEARNING TO BUILD TOPSOIL LIKE MOTHER NATURE DOES IT – BUILDING HOLISTIC PERMANENT CULTURES

How to Incorporate Permaculture Principles into your Farm or Garden.

Observe mother nature in your area/region and imitate what God has taught it to do.

  1. Observe what types of plants are used for soil covering and how it progresses to tall trees.
  2. See what your community needs are and incorporate it into your planning. Permaculture is not only about farming.
  3. Diversify: do not plant the same type of tree or crop next to each other. Mother nature diversifies and so should you, this will help preserve some of your crop during an attack by fungus, caterpillars or disease which tends to favor one type of crop or tree.
  4. Use water swales that utilize gravity to water your Farm or Garden.
